NY Farms Required to Develop COVID-19 Safety Plans - May 20, 2020
"New York Forward," the state of New York's re-opening plan requires all businesses, including farms, have written safety plans on how they plan to prevent and manage COVID-19. Cornell's Agricultural Workforce Development program outlines the requirements and what it means for farm businesses. The guidance includes a link to the New York's template for developing a plan. All New York farms are required to have a written plan.
