NYCAMH Farm Safety Art Contest - August 30, 2024

NYCAMH's art contest is a chance for students across New York State to bring a safety message to life in their artwork. This year's theme is "One Seat, One Rider," highlighting the importance of not allowing extra people to ride on machines not designed for it. Allowing extra riders is dangerous because they can cause distractions, block controls, alter the machine's center of gravity, or fall off moving equipment. Create a print or digital design promoting safety related to this topic.

Project Add-on: To learn more about farm equipment safety, you can request a NYCAMH safety educator to virtually visit your class or group to provide a 30-minute lesson to complement this project. Request this lesson by emailing Sarah Welsh.

The contest opens on September 16, 2024, and you can complete your entry form here.

The submission deadline is November 15, 2024.

Winners will be announced in December 2024.
